Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:59 PM PST 5 December 2025 A low pressure centre over Hecate Strait will depart the area this evening. Behind the low, gale to storm force westerlies will spread from offshore waters to the South Coast. Gale force west to northwest winds are forecast this evening west of Vancouver Island and Through Juan de Fuca Strait.
