* Periods of breezy north winds continue as temperatures gradually
  climb to well-above seasonal normals by the middle of next week.

.DISCUSSION...Today through Thursday.

A growing ridge of high pressure over the eastern Pacific Ocean will
continue to increase heights over the region through next week. The
resultant northwest flow aloft will maintain dry conditions, but
will bring occasional breezy north winds to the region as shortwaves
move along the flow. Temperatures rise to 10-15 degrees above
seasonal normals by late-week.

.AVIATION...For Harry Reid...For the 00Z Forecast Package...Typical
wind patterns Light southwest winds will return after sunset. with
speeds Little change in wind conditions is expected on Saturday.
under 8KT are expected through Saturday. Winds will become southwest
around sunset, continuing through early Saturday morning before
becoming light and variable. Light east winds will develop Saturday
afternoon. VFR conditions will prevail through Saturday, with FEW-
SCT clouds at or above 20kft AGL at times.

For the rest of southern Nevada, northwest Arizona and southeast
California...For the 00Z Forecast Package...Winds will remain light
at most TAF sites through Saturday, with speeds generally remaining
10KT less. This included KIFP starting around sunset tonight as
north winds diminish this evening and will be much lighter through
the rest of the forecast. VFR conditions will prevail, with a FEW to
SCT high clouds around 20kft AGL at times.
