Rain chances are coming to an end for portions of the Coastal Plains
mid afternoon while the rest of the area stays dry for the period.
Dry weather conditions persist tonight through Saturday night. Saturday`
highs are forecast to reach the lower to mid 70s over most
locations under mostly sunny to sunny skies.

A dry cold front is moving across the local area late
Saturday night and Sunday just to change the wind direction out of
the north in addition to cooler temperatures across the Hill
Country, Southern Edwards Plateau, and portions of the I-35 Corridor.
Overnight lows late Sunday night/Monday morning are forecast to drop
to the lower 30s across some locations over the Hill Country while
the rest of the local area stays in the upper 30s to lower 40s.

Dry weather continues through the long term forecast with a warming
trend mid week with highs in the mid to upper 70s over most areas.
Another dry cold front is forecast for Friday of next week to bring
down daily high temperatures into the mid 60s to lower 70s.

BKN layers of mid & high level clouds continue over the region
while surface winds remain mostly southerly. VFR skies should
persist for much of the night but after 06Z, there could be enough
fall in the the temperatures and rise in dew points to bring some
fog patches into I-35, but confidence is poor on when where. The
forecast follows close to the MAV/MET guidances for now, but we
may get some better details for the 06Z update after viewing some
more rapid refresh runs. The guidances depict a quick low level
clearing at daybreak with just high clouds left. Low to mid level
winds out of the west and southwest should help with moisture
removal, with mostly clear skies late in the period.
